SCRAP WREATH IN GREEN
I made another scrap wreath using the tutorial over at A Beautiful Mess (you can see my previous brown/white version here and my red version here and here). I did this one in green, my favorite color, using the bazillion green scraps I’ve been stock-piling. It goes well over the mantel in our living room, but I think it looks a bit small. I think it would look better centered over a mirror (hint hint to hubby—don’t you want to buy a mirror for the mantel?).
Update: I have since added a green bow to make it a bit more festive. I think I’ll let the wreath stay up all year without the bow.
DIY Spiky Crystal Ring Inspired by Pamela Love FW11. Rarely do I get this excited over a tutorial, but this one has links to super cheap crystals (3/$2.25 + shipping) and the rest of the supplies you can get anywhere. It’s also so much easier than it looks.
